Barracks Max Levels and Upgrade Cost – Clash of Clans

The Barracks is a key building in Clash of Clans because it is responsible for unlocking and training troops. You build the Barracks at Town Hall 1 during the initial tutorial when you start playing the game for the first time. As you upgrade the Barracks, you get access to more powerful troops. In total, there are 17 different troops that you can train in the Barracks.

Barracks Max Levels

Here are the max levels of Barracks at each Town Hall level:

• Max level of Barracks at TH1 is level 1.
• Max level of Barracks at TH2 is level 4.
• Max level of Barracks at TH3 is level 5.
• Max level of Barracks at TH4 is level 6.
• Max level of Barracks at TH5 is level 7.
• Max level of Barracks at TH6 is level 8.
• Max level of Barracks at TH7 is level 9.
• Max level of Barracks at TH8 is level 10.
• Max level of Barracks at TH9 is level 11.
• Max level of Barracks at TH10 is level 12.
• Max level of Barracks at TH11 is level 13.
• Max level of Barracks at TH12 is level 14.
• Max level of Barracks at TH13 is level 15.
• Max level of Barracks at TH14 is level 16.
• Max level of Barracks at TH15 is level 17.

The Barracks has 17 levels, and each level upgrade unlocks a new troop. The first three levels are there from Town Hall 1, but the tutorial doesn’t let you upgrade them until Town Hall 2.

Once you hit Town Hall 2, you gain access to three new troops. From there, with each Town Hall up to Town Hall 15, you unlock one additional troop. However, there’s no new troop added at Town Hall 16.
