The Alchemist is a helper you can hire from the Helper Hut in Clash of Clans once you reach Town Hall 11. She costs 100 gems and lets you convert resources like Elixir, Gold, and Dark Elixir into each other once per day.
The amount you get depends on her level—for example, at level 1, she can turn 1.5 million Gold into 10,000 Dark Elixir, while at level 7 (her max level), she can convert 10.5 million Gold into 70,000 Dark Elixir daily.
There’s also a conversion bonus that gives you extra resources. It starts at 1% and increases as she levels up, reaching a maximum of 10% at level 7. So if you convert Gold into Elixir, you’ll actually get 10% more Elixir than the amount of Gold you traded.
Max Levels
The Alchemist has a level cap at each Town Hall level after you unlock her at TH11. You can upgrade her once per Town Hall level as you progress. Here’s her max level at each Town Hall:

- TH13: Max level 3
- TH14: Max level 4
- TH15: Max level 5
- TH16: Max level 6
- TH17: Max level 7 (her highest level)
