Blacksmith: Upgrade Cost and Max Levels – Clash of Clans

The Blacksmith is a new offense building that came with the Town Hall 16 update in December 2023. In this building, you can upgrade and manage equipment for your heroes. You have the option to choose specific equipment for each hero. As you level up the Blacksmith, you unlock more equipment for your heroes to use.

Blacksmith becomes available at Town Hall 8, and it costs 750,000 elixirs to construct.

Blacksmith’s Max Levels

The Blacksmith has nine levels in total. It goes up one level each time you upgrade your Town Hall, starting from Town Hall 8 and going up to Town Hall 16. Upgrading the Blacksmith requires elixirs, and with each level-up, it gains an additional +100 hitpoints.

From Blacksmith levels 1 to 8, you unlock new equipment for your heroes with each upgrade. Each time you raise the Blacksmith to a higher level, one of your heroes gets access to a new equipment.

Here’s a breakdown of the hero equipment unlocked at different Blacksmith levels:

Earthquake Boots – Barbarian King

• Ability: When Barbarian King’s special ability is activated, he creates an earthquake that destroys nearby walls and damages nearby buildings. Additionally, he regains health and experiences a temporary increase in damage output.

Giant Arrow – Archer Queen

• Ability: When Archer Queen activates her special ability, she launches a Giant Arrow in a line, damaging all buildings in its path across the entire village. She also receives a slight hitpoint recovery and damage increase.

Vampstache – Barbarian King

• Passive Ability: This equipment allows Barbarian King to passively recover a few hitpoints of health every time he attacks.

Rage Gem – Grand Warden

• Passive Ability: All troops within Grand Warden’s aura receive a rage effect when equipped with this equipment. This effect boosts their damage per second and speed.

Healer Puppet – Archer Queen

• Ability: Archer Queen gains the ability to summon Healers when she uses her special ability.

Healing Tome – Grand Warden

• Ability: Using this equipment allows Grand Warden to heal himself and all troops within his aura, providing a certain amount of hitpoints for a few seconds.

Hog Rider Puppet – Royal Champion

• Ability: This equipment spawns Hog Riders around Royal Champion while making her invisible for 1 second.

Haste Vial – Royal Champion

• Ability: This equipment increases the attack and movement speed of the Royal Champion for a few seconds. It also gives a passive increase in the attack speed of the Royal Champion from the start to the end of the battle.
