Vampstache is a common type of equipment for the Barbarian King in Clash of Clans. You can unlock Vampstache by upgrading the Blacksmith to level 3, which is achievable at Town Hall 10. Vampstache is a powerful piece of equipment as it gives a ‘Passive Ability’ to the Barbarian King.
When equipped, the Barbarian King recovers a certain amount of hitpoints (depending on the Vampstache level) with each hit dealt to enemy buildings, heroes, or troops. Alongside the healing per hit, the Barbarian King also experiences increased attack speed and damage per second when equipped with Vampstache.
Vampstache Max Levels
Here are the max levels of Vampstache equipment:
- Vampstache has a max level of 12 at TH10.
- Vampstache has a max level of 15 at TH12.
- Vampstache has a max level of 18 at TH14.
As Vampstache is a common type of equipment, it can be maxed out at TH14, similar to other common equipment. It has a total of 18 upgrade levels and requires only Shiny Ore and Glowy Ore for its upgrades. Starry Ore is not needed as Vampstache is a common equipment.
Vampstache doesn’t receive new upgrade levels at certain Town Hall levels, namely TH11, TH13, TH15, and TH16.

Vampstache gives three kinds of boosts to the Barbarian King: Healing Per Hit, Damage Per Second Increase, and Attack Speed Increase.
- Healing Per Hit: This decides how many hitpoints the Barbarian King recovers with each strike on his target. It begins at 60 hitpoints with a level 1 Vampstache and goes up to 300 hitpoints at the highest level, which is level 18.
- Damage Per Second Increase: This indicates the additional damage per second that the Barbarian King inflicts on his target. It starts at +9 damage per second at level 1 Vampstache and reaches its highest point at +68 damage per second with a level 18 Vampstache.
- Attack Speed Increase: This determines how much faster the Barbarian King attacks when using Vampstache. The increase is in percentage. It starts at +5% attack speed with a level 1 Vampstache and peaks at +22% speed increase at the max level of Vampstache.
