Whiteout Survival: January 2024 Update Changelogs

January 2024 Update Whiteout Survival

Whiteout Survival has released an update for January 29, 2024. This update brings several improvements and new stuff to the game. Let’s take a look at what’s changing in the game.

Generation 7 Heroes

In this update, the main highlight is the introduction of three new heroes for servers entering generation 7. These heroes are Puppeteer Edith, Gunner Samuel, and Alchemist Gordon. They come with fresh skills and buffs for your troops. The detailed statistics of these heroes will be provided once they are available in the game.

Two New Events

In the January 2024 update of Whiteout Survival, two new events are being introduced: the New Year Event and the Valentine’s Day event. The Chinese New Year event will kick off in February, where players need to gather Lanterns to receive various gifts. Following that, the Valentine’s Day event begins on February 14th and lasts for a week.

Both events offer players the chance to earn and collect rare items throughout their duration.

Alliance Flags and Glory Ratings

A new metric called Glory Ratings is being introduced for Alliances in the game. Alliances can gather Glory Ratings to choose better new flags for themselves.

Improvements

Several smaller improvements and adjustments are being introduced to the game, with two notable changes standing out. Firstly, Presidents now have the ability to switch Alliances, a feature that was previously unavailable.

Secondly, during Castle Battle and State of Power event Alliances now only need to hold Sunfire Castle for 3 hours instead of the previous 6 hours to secure victory.

Here’s the full list of improvements coming to the game:

  • The Minister Appointment system has been improved with the introduction of Application and Pre-appointment features.
  • Presidents now have the option to change Alliances.
  • The Friends system has been improved, allowing Chiefs to set Furnace level requirements for sending private messages or friend requests.
  • Castle Battle and State of Power events have been optimized. Now, Sunfire Castle only needs to be held for 3 hours continuously to win, down from 6 hours.
  • The Alliance Voting system has been optimized. R5/R4 members can see who hasn’t voted yet, and a notification system alerts members who haven’t voted.
  • The Crystal Laboratory has been enhanced to offer more refinement options as Fire Crystal Level increases.
  • R5/R4 members can cancel other members’ rallies (except for Beast Hunting rallies).
  • Consumptions in Foundry Battle are now counted in event missions.
  • Chiefs can adjust the ratio of troop types to be dispatched, with interfaces like battle reports displaying the ratio.
  • The button placement for Hero Recruitment has been optimized, swapping the positions of “Recruit 10 times” and “Use All.”
  • Display optimization has been implemented for foldable phones.
