We’ve found some top Town Hall 16 bases for March 2024 in Clash of Clans. These bases performed well when tested against different attack strategies. Let’s take a look at them.
Base #1
The first base layout features evenly spread out main defenses. The Eagle Artillery, Town Hall, and Monolith are placed apart so they’re not all targeted at once. There’s a spell tower with a Rage Spell positioned in front of the Town Hall, which can be switched to an Invisibility Spell if needed.
The Eagle Artillery is placed in the left corner of the base, while the Monolith sits at the center. The Clan Castle is positioned just behind the Town Hall. This base is suitable for both war and the Legends League.

Base #2
In the second layout, the core defenses are evenly distributed once again. The Eagle Artillery is placed in a corner this time, whereas the Monolith was at the core in the previous layout. The Town Hall sits on the upper side of the Eagle Artillery.
There’s a Spell Tower positioned closer to the Town Hall, along with multiple Builder Huts to provide healing and support. Four X-Bows are placed in front of the Town Hall to make it difficult for enemies to target it directly. The Monolith is located on the bottom side in a separate compartment, along with the Clan Castle and one Inferno Tower.

Base #3
The third layout performed well in both Clan Wars and Legend League trophy pushing. The Clan Castle is positioned at the core of this base. In the top corner, you’ll find the Eagle Artillery, Barbarian King, one Inferno Tower, one Scattershot, and a couple of smaller defenses.
The Town Hall is placed on the left side of the base, accompanied by Hidden Teslas and a Spell Tower positioned behind it to maximize damage per second.

The fourth base is excellent for both Clan War Leagues and regular Clan Wars, featuring an unconventional design. In this layout, the Monolith and Town Hall are placed in the same compartment, with the Monolith positioned behind the Town Hall on the left corner of the base.
The Eagle Artillery is situated on the right side, while the Clan Castle is placed at the core of the base. Recommended Clan Castle troops for this base include 2 Ice Golems, 2 Rocket Balloons, and the rest Archers.

Base #5
The fifth base is another well-designed layout, with the Eagle Artillery positioned on the top side. In the core, there’s a Clan Castle and Monolith. Just above the Clan Castle, there’s a smaller compartment containing a Spell Tower with a Poison Spell and one Inferno Tower.
The Town Hall is located on the bottom side of the base, with multiple defenses providing cover. If you’ve merged your defenses, it’s recommended to place two multi-Archer Towers in the Town Hall’s compartment.
