The Battle Blimp is the second Siege Machine in Clash of Clans. You can use it once your Town Hall reaches level 12 and your Workshop is at level 2. However, even before reaching Town Hall 12, players with a level 6 Clan Castle (available at TH10) can request a Battle Blimp from clan mates.
The Battle Blimp’s main job is to target the Town Hall, whether it’s still standing or already destroyed. When you deploy the Battle Blimp, it begins moving toward the Town Hall while dropping bombs along the way.
Once it reaches the Town Hall, it lands and releases the troops from your Clan Castle. You can load the Battle Blimp with troops by asking your clan mates for reinforcements.
Spells don’t have any effect on the Battle Blimp. This means you can’t use spells like healing or rage to boost its performance in battles.
Grand Warden‘s Eternal Tome and Life Aura do work with the Battle Blimp. Despite this, during a battle, the Grand Warden won’t follow the Battle Blimp.
Even if you deploy both the Grand Warden and the Battle Blimp at the start of the attack and have no other troops with them, the Grand Warden won’t follow the Battle Blimp on its journey towards the Town Hall.
Battle Blimp’s Max Levels
The Battle Blimp has four levels in total. You can unlock the first three levels at Town Hall 12, and the fourth level becomes available when you advance to Town Hall 13.
Battle Blimp does not receive any further upgrades at Town Hall levels 14 and 15. Here is the list of max levels of Battle Blimp:

The Battle Blimp deals area splash damage while moving toward the Town Hall. It has two types of damage: one as it moves and another when it falls to the ground, either due to taking damage or reaching the Town Hall.
The damage it causes upon destruction, known as death damage, is quite effective. It deals 700 damage at level 1 and 1000 damage at level 4. Additionally, its damage per attack increases greatly from 150 at level 1 to 330 at level 4, more than doubling.
Despite its fast movement speed of 18, the Battle Blimp has relatively low hitpoints, making it vulnerable.
To protect the Battle Blimp during its journey to the Town Hall, players often use the Grand Warden’s Eternal Tome to make the Battle Blimp invulnerable so that it reaches the Town Hall safely.
