“Grow Your Heroes” is a special event in Whiteout Survival, during which you use hero shards to earn points. Once a specific point threshold is reached, you can claim various rewards, such as gems and Mythic Skill Manuals. The event lasts for two days.
Event Tasks
There are three tasks available during the “Grow Your Heroes” event. These tasks are as follows:
- Use 1 Rare Hero Shard to ascend a hero – 15 points.
- Use 1 Epic Hero Shard to ascend a hero – 50 points.
- Use 1 Mythic Hero Shard to ascend a hero – 125 points.
You can increase the star levels of your Mythic, Epic, or Rare heroes to earn event points. Ascending Mythic Heroes provides the highest point yield, with 125 points per Mythic Hero Shard used. The second-highest is for Epic Hero Shards, earning 50 points, and the lowest is for Rare Hero Shards, which gives 15 points.
How to Prepare for Grow Your Heroes Event?
To prepare for the “Grow Your Heroes” event, start saving hero shards as soon as the event appears on the event calendar. The event typically shows up on the calendar two days before it starts. Once you have obtained a sufficient number of hero shards, use them during the event to quickly gain a large number of points and claim all event rewards within a few minutes.
If you fail to save hero shards beforehand, you still have a two-day window to gather and use them, providing enough time. Allocate some time to Intel Missions, Hero Recruitment, and marches to obtain the necessary shards. The first approach is preferable if you aim to compete for a place on the event leaderboard.
Event Rewards
The “Grow Your Heroes” event has five tiers of rewards that you can claim, each requiring a specific amount of points. The first reward tier is at 10 points, while the final one stands at 5600 points.
The quality of rewards improves as you progress to higher tiers. At the final tier, you can claim 2000 gems and 10 Mythic Skill Manuals. Additionally, other tiers offer rewards such as speedups, hero XP, and resources.
For even more lucrative rewards, consider competing for a spot on the event leaderboard. This leaderboard comprises all players from the state, ranked based on the points obtained during the event. The top 100 players receive extra rewards, including a large amount of gems, at the conclusion of the event.
