Royal Gem is the default hero equipment available to the Royal Champion in Clash of Clans. This equipment provides an “Active Ability” to the Royal Champion; therefore, the effect of this equipment is only activated when the Royal Champion uses her special ability. When activated, the Royal Gem heals the Royal Champion for a large amount of hitpoints.
Royal Gem Max Levels
Here are the max levels of Royal Gem equipment:
- Royal Gem has a max level of 15 at TH13.
- Royal Gem has a max level of 18 at TH14.
Since Royal Gem belongs to the common category of hero equipment, it can reach a maximum level of 18. The first 15 levels are available for upgrade at Town Hall 13; after that, the last three levels become available at Town Hall 14.
Royal Gem has no further upgrades at TH15 and TH16.

The Royal Gem has four statistics linked to it: Healing on Activation, Damage Per Second Increase, and Hitpoints Increase.
- Healing on Activation: This determines the hitpoints the Royal Champion regains when she activates her special ability. The value starts at 1200 hitpoints and reaches 2400 hitpoints at the maximum level of the Royal Gem.
- Damage Per Second Increase: This decides the increase in damage per second that the Royal Champion receives when equipped with the Royal Gem. The value is added to the actual damage per second of the Royal Champion. It starts at +20 damage per second and reaches +105 damage per second when the Royal Gem is maxed out.
- Hitpoints Increase: This determines the additional hitpoints the Royal Champion gains when equipped with the Royal Gem. The value is added to the actual hitpoints of the Royal Champion. It starts at +40 hitpoints and goes up to +380 hitpoints when the Royal Gem is maxed out.
