The Overgrowth Spell is a powerful dark spell that was introduced into Clash of Clans in the February 2024 update. You can unlock the Overgrowth Spell by upgrading your Dark Spell Factory to level 6 at Town Hall 12.
When you use the Overgrowth spell, it freezes the defenses within a big area similar to the Freeze Spell.
However, there are a couple of differences between the Overgrowth Spell and the Freeze Spell. For one, the Overgrowth Spell doesn’t affect heroes and castle troops. Also, the defenses that get frozen by the Overgrowth Spell cannot be attacked until they are unfrozen.

- Overgrowth Spell has a max level of 3 at TH14.
- Overgrowth Spell has a max level of 4 at TH16.
There are no upgrades for Overgrowth Spell at TH13 and TH15.
