How to use Hog Riders effectively

Hog Riders can deal a considerable amount of damage per second, but their hitpoints are relatively low. They are particularly vulnerable to certain defenses such as Giants Bombs, Bomb Towers, and Wizard Towers.

If you’re a Town Hall 9 or higher, a successful Hog Rider attack requires a strategic approach.

The key is to first clear out as many defenses as possible with a Queen Charge attack. It’s recommended to take out those pesky Bomb Towers and Wizard Towers, which can quickly decimate your Hog Riders.

By prioritizing the removal of these defenses, you’ll be able to give your Hog Riders the best chance of success.

As you progress to Town Hall 12 and beyond, the Town Hall’s signature weapons – the Giga Tesla and Giga Inferno – can pose a serious risk to your Hog Riders.

These defenses can deal a huge amount of damage, wiping out your troops in an instant. To avoid falling victim to them, it’s advisable to take a strategic approach.

One effective strategy is to use a Queen Charge attack or Siege Machines to take out the Town Hall before deploying your Hog Riders.

When attacking at Town Hall 8 and 7 with Hog Riders, your biggest concern will be the threat of double Giant Bombs. You can bring a Healing Spell along with your Hog Riders.

The Healing Spell can come in handy to restore your Hog Riders’ health in case they encounter a Giant Bomb explosion.

Since Hog Riders are usually deployed in mass at these Town Hall levels, you should try to keep them healthy and alive as they deal their devastating blows.

Another thing to keep in mind is the possibility of enemy Clan Castle troops, which can easily wipe out your Hog Riders.

Consider using a Poison Spell to neutralize them before deploying your Hog Riders or use some of your own troops to lure the enemy’s castle troops before launching a full attack.

By taking these precautions, you can achieve good results with your Hog Rider attacks.
