The Giant Gauntlet is the Barbarian King’s epic equipment in Clash of Clans that can be unlocked through special events. The first event in which the Giant Gauntlet was available occurred in December 2023 and was named the Cookie Rumble event.
This equipment provides an “Active Ability,” meaning it only functions when the Barbarian King’s special ability is activated. When triggered, the Giant Gauntlet enlarges the Barbarian King, enabling him to deal area-of-effect damage. This allows him to target multiple defenses within a range of 2.5 tiles.
Giant Gauntlet and Frozen Arrow are the only two epic equipment in the game.
Giant Gauntlet Max Levels
Here are the max levels of Giant Gauntlet:
- Giant Gauntlet has a max level of 12 at TH8.
- Giant Gauntlet has a max level of 15 at TH10.
- Giant Gauntlet has a max level of 18 at TH12.
- Giant Gauntlet has a max level of 21 at TH14.
- Giant Gauntlet has a max level of 24 at TH15.
- Giant Gauntlet has a max level of 27 at TH16.
As an epic equipment, the Giant Gauntlet can attain a maximum level of 27. The highest level is available at Town Hall 16. The Giant Gauntlet does not gain new upgrade levels at specific Town Hall levels, namely TH9, TH11, and TH13.

Ability Type: Active (works when the hero’s special ability is activated)
When the Barbarian King’s ability is activated, the Giant Gauntlet enlarges the Barbarian King while reducing the damage he takes by a certain percentage, determined by the equipment level. At the maximum level of the Giant Gauntlet, the damage taken is reduced by 60%.
Giant Gauntlet also gives a passive ability to the Barbarian King, which allows him to regenerate a certain amount of hitpoints per second throughout the battle.
