Clone Spell – Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans: Clone Spell

The Clone Spell is a powerful spell you unlock in Clash of Clans when you reach Town Hall 10. As the name suggests, this spell allows you to make copies of your troops. These cloned troops only stay on the battlefield for a short time, just a few seconds.

Each level of the Clone Spell has a specific clone capacity. This capacity determines the number of clones that a single Clone Spell can create.

It’s worth mentioning that the clones created by the spell always appear with maximum health. This means that if you clone a troop that has taken damage, the clone will be spawned with full health.

In addition to cloning regular troops, the Clone Spell can also be used to create copies of existing clones. It’s an incredible ability that allows you to multiply your troop even further.

However, this powerful spell has its limitations. It cannot clone heroes and pets, so you won’t be able to create duplicates of those special units.

Clone Spell’s Max Levels

The Clone Spell can be upgraded through a total of 8 levels, each offering improved statistics. To progress to the next level, you’ll need a specific amount of Elixir and some waiting time.

Initially, at Town Hall 10, you’ll have access to the first three levels of the spell. As you advance to Town Hall 11, the spell receives two additional upgrades, and from there on, it gains one upgrade with each higher Town Hall level.

One of the key benefits of upgrading the Clone Spell is the increase in its “Cloned Capacity.” This capacity determines both the quantity and type of troops that can be cloned.

With each level up, the Cloned Capacity grows, and at level 8, it reaches an impressive 42. This means that the Clone Spell can clone any troop available in Clash of Clans since no troop requires more than 40 housing space (Ice Hound requires 40).

Here is the list of max levels of Clone Spell:

  • Max Level of Clone Spell at Town Hall 10 is level 3.
  • Max level of Clone Spell at Town Hall 11 is level 5.
  • Max level of Clone Spell at Town Hall 13 is level 6.
  • Max level of Clone Spell at Town Hall 14 is level 7.
  • Max level of Clone Spell at Town Hall 15 is level 8.

Clone Spell has no new level upgrade at Town Hall 12 and stays at level 5.

Clone Spell’s Statistics

The Clone Spell made its debut in Clash of Clans on 24th May 2016, initially available for Town Hall 11. However, it was later moved to Town Hall 10, allowing more players to enjoy its benefits.

This spell has a radius of 3.5 tiles, meaning it can affect an area within that range. Once cast, its effect lasts for 18 seconds.

One of the great features of the Clone Spell is that it can be used on both air and ground-based troops, making it a good addition to any attack strategy. The clones created by the Clone Spell remain active for a duration of 30 seconds.

Keep in mind that the Clone Spell requires the largest housing space among all the spells in the Spell Factory.

Specifically, it occupies 3 housing spaces, whereas other spells typically require two or even just one housing space. As a result, careful planning is necessary to accommodate this larger spell within your army composition.

When it comes to brewing the Clone Spell, it takes approximately 9 minutes to complete the brewing process. This means that after you use or donate a Clone Spell, you’ll need to wait for 9 minutes before it’s ready to be used again.
