Clash of Clans: Scattershot Upgrade Cost and Upgrade Time

Ah, Scattershot – the ultimate base-defending building in Clash of Clans! This wickedly awesome defense only becomes available once you reach Town Hall 13, but boy is it worth the wait!

This powerful defense building deals some serious splash damage that’ll make even the toughest troop shake in their boots.

Whether you’ve got a whole army at your doorstep or just one lone soldier, you can bet your bottom dollar they’ll all be quaking in fear at the sight of a Scattershot!

Now, don’t let the Scattershot’s tiny no-fire zone fool you – getting past this defense is no easy feat! With a range of 10 whole tiles, this thing can hit enemies from a mile away (well, not really, but you get the idea).

And that’s not all – this bad boy can take on both air and ground units with ease, dealing massive amounts of damage per second that’ll make your enemies run for the hills. At max level, the Scattershot can deal 190 damage with each shot.

Scattershot’s Max Levels

Scattershot gets available at Town Hall 13 and can be upgraded to its max level at Town Hall 16. Here is the list of max levels of Scattershot at each Town Hall:

  • Max level of Scattershot at Town Hall 13 is level 2.
  • Max level of Scattershot at Town Hall 14 is level 3.
  • Max level of Scattershot at Town Hall 15 is level 4.
  • Max level of Scattershot at Town Hall 16 is level 5.

Strategic Placement of Scattershot

If you want to make the most out of your Scattershots, you gotta be strategic with your placement. Trust us, it’s not just about plopping them down willy-nilly and hoping for the best!

First things first, make sure to keep your Scattershots a good distance apart from each other.

That way, your enemies won’t be able to take them out with multiple Lightning Spells. And who wants to be taken down by a measly Lightning Spell, am I right?

But that’s not all, folks! When it comes to placement, you gotta think outside the box.

Or, in this case, outside the base. The key to success is to cover as much ground as possible – that means putting your Scattershots on different sides of the base to ensure maximum coverage.

And let’s not forget the pure joy of watching those Hog Riders and other bulk troops get absolutely decimated by your trusty Scattershots!

Did you know there’s a way to take your Scattershots to the next level of destruction? If you’re lucky enough to have reached Town Hall 15, you can boost their attack speed by placing them near a Spell Tower with a Rage Spell set on it.

And if that’s not enough to satisfy your destructive cravings, try this on for size: use an Invisibility Spell on the Spell Tower to keep those enemy troops from getting too close to your beloved Scattershot.

So go forth and show those attackers who’s boss with some expert Scattershot placement!

How to Counter Scattershots

There are a few ways to take down this powerful defense building.

First things first – if you’re planning on using the Hybrid Hog-Miner strategy, you better watch out for those Scattershots. They can turn your Hog Riders and Miners into minced meat faster than you can say “ouch.”

So, what should a determined attacker do? Well, a Queen Charge attack can do wonders in taking out at least one Scattershot and other defense buildings that might get in her way.

But wait, there’s more! Once your troops are closing in on the second Scattershot, unleash the power of the Grand Warden’s ability to make them invincible for a few seconds.

This way, your troops can avoid the massive damage dealt by those deadly Scattershots.

In fact, the Grand Warden can be a lifesaver in many attack strategies, protecting your troops from the Scattershot’s devastating destruction.
