Clash of Clans: All Anniversary Cakes in Order

Clash of Clans began including special anniversary cakes in the game starting from their 5th anniversary. These cakes appear every year as the anniversary month, which is August, approaches. Clash of Clans was released on August 2, 2012, making August its anniversary month.

These cakes, which are added to the game on the anniversary, have a different appearance each year. In the past, it used to cost elixir to remove these anniversary cakes. But for the last four years, they can be removed using gold.

When you decide to remove an anniversary cake, you’ll receive a certain amount of gold and experience points.

Every year, multiple anniversary cakes are placed in the villages of each player. Let’s take a closer look at the different Clash of Clans anniversary cakes in chronological order.

5th Anniversary Cake

Clash of Clans: 5th Anniversary Cake

In August 2017, Clash of Clans introduced its 5th Anniversary cake into the game. This particular cake was designed to resemble a chocolate cake, complete with a creamy topping and strawberries placed on that layer of cream.

Its delicious appearance marked the beginning of anniversary cakes in the game, setting the stage for more to come.

6th Anniversary Cake

During the month of August in 2018, which marked the 6th anniversary of the game, Clash of Clans revealed its second-anniversary cake. This cake took on the appearance of a blueberry cake, featuring a layer of cream on its upper surface and six blueberries placed as delightful toppings.

Interestingly, a slice had been cut from the cake, yet it remained intact, seemingly awaiting someone to claim it.

7th Anniversary Cake

In the year 2019, which marked the 7th anniversary of the game, a distinct addition surfaced. Rather than a traditional cake, a gift box took center stage. This gift box, decorated with a golden ribbon, was intended to house the celebratory cake.

Instead of having the cake out in the open, players found it tucked away within the box, waiting to be unwrapped and revealed.

8th Anniversary Cake

During the game’s 8th anniversary in the year 2020, Clash of Clans introduced a fresh cake design. This new cake had a golden hue, with cascades of golden cream flowing down its side.

Notably, a large number “8” decorated the cake, crafted in a vibrant green gem color. This cake stood apart from its predecessors with its different and unique appearance.

9th Anniversary Cake

During Clash of Clans’ 9th anniversary celebration, players were presented with yet another visually pleasing cake. This particular cake resembled a two-tiered chocolate cake, crowned with a layer of creamy strawberry topping.

What made it even more beautiful was the presence of a sword embedded at its top. Undeniably, this cake stood out as one of the most visually appealing cakes in the game’s history.

10th Anniversary Cake

For the game’s 10th anniversary, players were presented with yet another exquisite cake. This particular creation featured a rich reddish-cream texture and was crafted in a three-tiered design.

At the top, an “X” symbol proudly denoted the game’s milestone 10th birthday. The front of the cake showcased a shield inspired by the Clash of Clans logo, complemented by an adjacent sword.

In a playful and interactive twist, tapping the cake’s surface would summon a Barbarian. This Barbarian would emerge from the cake’s top, glance around momentarily, and then amusingly retreat back into the cake after a brief moment.

This delightful feature added an extra layer of enjoyment to the celebratory cake.

11th Anniversary Cake

As of August 2023, players have been gifted with the 11th-anniversary cake. This cake is designed with two tiers, both decorated in a soothing blue cream. Crowning the cake are two swords affixed to its upper surface.

The cake’s appearance is truly one-of-a-kind, with an exceptionally appealing texture.

  1. Nicely done on the writeup! I have all of the anniversary cakes too. I also have every Christmas tree after year one. It would be nice to see an article done on the trees as well as other annual additions like the lanterns and holloween items.
